In 2009, we observed a flurry of new cloud vendors with innovative takes on existing problems. Companies were excited about all these new tools, but were growing increasingly frustrated with their lack of ability to manage users and control access across applications, and generally manage their IT footprint in the cloud.
We realized that the complexity of existing identity management solutions was incompatible with the simplicity of the cloud. And we saw lack of standards that would be a requirement for strong identity ecosystem to emerge.
We decided to change how enterprises think about IT by building a cloud-based platform for identity management and by becoming a major driver for the standards that power today’s identity infrastructure.

New CEO with a clear vision on how to grow the company. Great team of people who are really invested in growing the company. A new direction in aligning sales, marketing & product. Collaborative & fun environment. Lots of team building events and exercises. Great path for growth. Investing in sale training & methodology! Supportive management.
The security incident has made growth a bit difficult but we are already seeing an upswing within 2 months and the pipeline is growing faster than it has in a year.

Keep building out an experienced team and investing in sales, marketing, and product.

A series of 1-on-1 interviews ranging from algorithms to 'fit'. Individual interviewers were prepared, but there was little coordination between interviewers. Challenges included logic problems, whiteboard, and pair programming.
