I have been working at Open Systems Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Enviroment - OSH gives me the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. There are some challenging situations that arise throughout the day but they give you the opportunity to develop your conflict resolution skills and emotional intelligence. It is rewarding to help people in need and provide for myself as well. Team members are fun to work with, positive, and supportive. Advancement opportunities are real - Recruiter just opened her own office and an HRC was just promoted to be my Branch Manager.

Compensation and benefits are competitive in the industry. Recruiter role allows for exposure to management training/tasks to expand professional knowledge.

    Cons

On call can be stressful because home care is a 24/7 industry. At times, situations can be highly stressful and difficult with the clientele we service but the positive reviews we receive make the stress worthwhile.

    Advice to Management

Compensation for On Call to team members.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Open Systems Healthcare.

    Interview

Applied online through college website. I was then contacted by a manager to come into the office for an interview. I was interviewed by a manager and a member from the corporate office as well. It was more laid back than I expected. I reviewed my resume and basic interview questions were asked. Follow up email is very important after interview!! The manager then followed up with an offer after the interview and follow up email.
