Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others.     I applied online. I interviewed at Optimizely (United Kingdom)


    Had 2 positive interviews, second interviewer indicated I would progress to next round. Then ghosted. No feedback or further communications. 2 months later I asked for feedback. Was told that the role had become available again and would I like to continue with the original interview process. I said sure why not. Had 2 more positive interviews, then ghosted again. No feedback, no communications.

    Blows my mind how low the levels of professionalism can be at some companies.
