I have been working at Optoma Technology full-time (More than 3 years)
This company has allowed me to grow, offered me opportunities for growth and actively facilitated my advancement within the company. There is a lot of camaraderie within the individual departments.
Organization and communication between departments is severely lacking. Company overall is much more reactive than proactive. There isn't a whole lot of congruency between sales, service and product teams, which often leads to finger pointing
Advice to Management
The communication that does happen between department leads does not seem to provide much in trickle-down information to non-management associates. Often it seems that there are "too many hands in the cookie jar."
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Optoma Technology (Watford, East of England, England (UK)) in August 2010.
Found my CV on Monster. I was called in for an initial interview, told about the position and asked if I was interested and then asked questions to see how i would fit into the company and role.
Asked another member of staff to come and meet me.
Shortlisted and asked in for another interview where I was given a short test. Basic stats/percentages.
Asked if still interested and availability and a bit more detail of experiences, competency based.
