I have been working at Optos full-time (More than a year)
Cool product, great people, continuous opportunities to be challenged, good compensation, great benefits, serious about work/life balance.
Still trying to negotiate the transition from small, nimble company to established firm
Advice to Management
Sustainable growth is everything
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Optos (Dunfermline, Scotland (UK)).
Technical tests via codility which were interesting and indeed fun. After this there was a face to face interview with HR and engineers that I would potentially be working with. However it became clear through out the interview that they had advertised for one thing but actually wanted something else and that a lot of time was being wasted by all simply due to the advertised spec for the job not being what was actually wanted.
