I have been working at Orange full-time (More than 5 years)
Benefits, about a month off a year, health benefits are still generous, as are 401k
There are two Orange's, the French employees and everyone else. Right now the business is going through a transition and layoffs and buyouts have been happening a lot for the past few years. Older workforce, , and not much incentive to change that.
Advice to Management
Try to hire younger employees, and do things that would actually keep them. As one of about 10 under 30 employees brought on about 6yrs ago, only three of us are left. This is partly due to management, compensation, and work environment.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Orange (New York, NY).
Quite easy interview, I was quite over-qualified for the position
the process was fast
interesting meetings with management, questions as usual, nothing too complicated
I received the offer a week after the first interview.
the global process was a great experience but the position itself was not as challenging as expected at the end
