Company Updates

  • It is with great sadness we share that our Chairman, R. Randall Rollins, passed away peacefully after a short illness. ?The loss of Randall is felt profoundly, not only by family, his friends and me, but also by generations of Rollins employees and colleagues who had the privilege of knowing him during his 70 years of devotion to our Company,? said Gary W. Rollins, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rollins, Inc. ?He exemplified the principles of integrity, innovation and dedication instilled by our father O. Wayne Rollins, who co-founded the company with his brother, John. We will miss him greatly.?

  • At Orkin we believe that giving blood should be optional 💉🦟 We recently completed our mosquito 🦟 campaign in which we partnered with the American Red Cross . At the end of the partnership, Freeman Elliott, Orkin President, presented Orkin's $100,000 donation virtually to the American Red Cross. Thank you to everyone that was a part of this campaign. 👏 Check out the video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5ZNUhbcd1w&feature=share

I have been working at Orkin full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The BMT program is fast-paced and full of information. Upper management is easily accessible and always willing to help. The training is thorough. Entry level salary is above the market average & company vehicle.

    Cons

Can be relocated at anytime. This uncertainty is uncomfortable and makes life planning difficult. Prior to accepting the position, you are made aware that relocation is a possibility but not at the first interview. Benefits are not great.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be involved in BMT development. Open lines of communication between trainees & management are crucial. When possible, be completely transparent about BMT's futures'.
