I have been working at Orvis Company part-time
The E-Commerce has been great. Flexible hours, good pay, and good people. Challenging work that uses my customer service and technology skills. The newest supervisor Juliana is wonderful; she truly makes it a priority to help everyone be the best that they can be. There is potential to work from home too.
Working at least one weekend day is required of everyone. There is a lot to learn in a short period of time, so this is tough but will be rewarding.
Advice to Management
Continue to take time to focus on making everyone better, not just a select few.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Orvis Company.
Received a request to phone interview within a week of applying. I had 2 phone interviews and 1 in person interview. The in-person interview was a store walk through. They asked me what I thought of the staff and what I thought of the merchandising. I had some follow up scenario questions. I enjoyed the interview questions and the process.
