Derrick joined P2 in July 2016 as the company's Chief Financial Officer. A Southern California native, Derrick has spent the majority of his career in the Denver area and has held a variety of senior finance and accounting roles at some of the largest public companies in Colorado. Immediately prior to joining P2, Derrick was Vice President of Global Mergers and Acquisitions at Arrow Electronics, where he spearheaded more than 20 acquisitions in his four years as the Fortune 500 company's M&A leader.

Michael Danielewicz is the Senior Vice President, Sales & Canadian General Manager for P2 Energy Solutions and is responsible for both the Canadian sales organization as well as being the business leader for P2 in Canada.

In her role as Special Advisor to the CEO, Samina Farid provides counsel on P2’s overall business strategy, product direction, and various projects. Samina is a co-founder of Merrick Systems, which P2 acquired in December 2014.

Ben Farquharson is P2 Energy Solutions' Senior Vice President for the APAC region. He joined the company in November 2015.

As P2's Senior Vice President of Production, Chris Lenig pilots the direction, strategy, and go-to-market planning for all of the company's Production solutions, which encompass field operations, production data management, production forecasting, and operational intelligence.
Vice President, Product Development
Liz Nguyen is P2 Energy Solutions’ Vice President of Product Development. In her role, Liz heads P2’s development group and is responsible for the development, design, quality, and delivery of all of P2’s solutions. She was P2’s Senior Director of Product Development for the Houston Center of Excellence before being promoted to her current position in November 2014.

In her role as P2's Vice President of Human Resources, Roxane Plant oversees all aspects of P2's HR efforts. She joined the company in March 2016.

Jerry Rugg is P2 Energy Solutions’ Vice President of Industry Solutions. In his role, Jerry supports P2’s overall sales efforts by providing industry and product knowledge to the company's Regional Sales teams and subject matter experts.

I have been working at P2 Energy Solutions full-time (Less than a year)
1) The executive leadership, since I have been here has been top notch. We recently hired a new CEO and he seems to be very proactive and is targeting a High Performance Culture in the company. This is a huge morale booster.
2) The employees at the company are extremely intelligent and determined which makes you do your job better.
3) My managers and my team members encourage me to do a better job.
4) Definitely better PTO and HSA program than most companies.
5) Great location, flexible working hours and also work from home option
1) The existing internal processes within the company need to be worked on.
2) More transparency and communication is needed across all the different departments.
3) Pay is below market, but not by a lot.
Advice to Management
1) Focus on employee retention. It is understandable that salaries are lower because of the health of the oil & gas market, but then substitute them with other benefits like phantom stock options or adjusting bonus % or merit %.
2) Need a clear career progression process. This is again important for employee retention.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at P2 Energy Solutions (Houston, TX).
Comprised of a HR call, An in person interview, and a background check and drug test. HR call was one one and was about half an hour. The in person interviews were 3 separate interviews, two with managers and one with a couple principal level developers.
