Leaders of Tomorrow Program (For sophomores and juniors)

At PKF O’Connor Davies, we recognize the importance of attracting top talent early. For undergraduates interested in growing into an influential role in accounting, this program presents the opportunity to explore our Firm, our culture and the career-launching benefits we offer. You’ll participate in skill-building workshops, network with Firm professionals and develop leadership abilities as you gain a genuine understanding of the responsibilities and advantages a career with us entails. Designed specifically for sophomores and juniors, this two-day program takes place in June.

Winter Tax Internship (For juniors and seniors)

Our Winter Tax Internship Program is the ideal way to explore a career in public accounting and secure valuable hands-on experience at the same time. You’ll work directly with clients as an active member of one of our industry group teams, assisting with tax scanning and tax return preparation. Roll up your sleeves and commit to at least 20 hours per week as this program for part-time interns takes place during the mid-February to mid-April tax season.

Summer Audit Internship (For juniors and seniors)

Our Summer Audit Internship Program offers real-world audit experience along with immersion in our Firm culture. As a team member in one of our industry groups, you’ll assist in executing actual audit projects for key clients and conduct a market research project for presentation to Firm leadership. Community service and Firm-sponsored events help you build a professional network as you expand your skills through specialized training and collaboration with your own Intern Adviser. This full-time, eight-week internship program starts in mid-June and continues until mid-August.

Full-Time Opportunities (Candidates must be on track to have 150-credits before starting)

At PKF O’Connor Davies, we offer competitive compensation and benefits; our comprehensive benefits packages provide access to programs that can be tailored to meet the personal health and financial well-being needs of our partners, staff and their families.  We also provide resources and programs to help staff pursue their professional goals and support their personal and family needs along with a full roster of volunteer and community service activities. 

Our benefits program currently includes the following:

Health and Well-Being Plans

  • Holidays: The firm provides 10 paid holidays per year, 7 of which are fixed.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrue paid time off for between 15 and 25 workdays per year, based upon staff classification and length of service.
  • Flexible Work Option (FWO): A Flexible Work Option provides a unique opportunity to rethink where, when and how work gets done. The greatest payoff of flexibility for the Firm and our employees lies in the process we go through when we rethink our work, find efficiencies and identify better practices.
  • Commuter Benefits Program: Through payroll deductions, you have the option to save money by paying transit and parking expenses with pre-tax dollars. 
  • Medical Plans: Comprehensive medical coverage is available for you, your spouse and dependents through multiple medical plan options (including prescription drug coverage).
  • Dental Plans: Diagnostic, preventive, major care and orthodontia coverage for you, your spouse and dependents.
  • Vision Care Plan: Coverage for routine eye examinations, contact and eyeglass lenses as well as frames.
  • Flexible Spending Account: Allows you to save pre-tax money for eligible medical expenses.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Offers a complete range of services on issues such as health and wellness, emotional well-being, financial problems, parenting and childcare, and resources for seniors.

  • 401(k) Savings Plan: This retirement planning vehicle provides the opportunity to benefit from pre-tax savings, save on an after-tax basis or manage your 401(k) with a combination of the two.
  • Profit Sharing Plan: As an alternative to a matching plan, the Firm also offers a Profit Sharing plan. This benefit allows the Firm to distribute part of our profits to all of our employees, not just those who are enrolled in the 401(k) Plan.  Profit Share contributions are discretionary and there is a six-year vesting period with 0% allocated in the first year and 20% every year thereafter.
  • 529 Savings Plan: A flexible college savings program designed to help families save for the rising cost of education. The plan offers tax-free earnings growth with flexible investment options.  The minimum investment to get started is $250.
  • CPA Review Course Program: Through this program, the firm pays directly for online or live CPA review courses. If you decide not to take advantage of the Direct Bill Plan, you will be eligible for a $2,500 reimbursement upon certification.
  • CPA Bonus: All professionals who pass all four parts of the CPA exam while employed by the firm will receive a $1,000 bonus upon passing all four parts.
  • Education Reimbursement: This program provides eligible staff with educational support of up to $5,250 (non-taxable) per calendar year. Upon completing course, reimbursement is awarded for when receiving a “B” or better.
  • New Business Incentive: This program rewards you for making the initial contact on a new client that results in business for the Firm.  The Firm will pay a commission of 15% on fees billed and collected with a realization rate of 85% or better.  The commission is reduced by 1% each year and payment will last until the sixth year.
  • Employee Referral Bonus: This program rewards you for referring great talent to join the team.  You could earn from $500 to $6,500 for eligible referrals.
  • Spotlight on Value Bonus Program: This is just one more step in creating a high-performance culture that encourages and rewards employees who are making extraordinary contributions to the firm. Bonuses are awarded year-round, as recommended by Partners, to employees whose contributions exceed either performance expectations or the scope of their job responsibilities.
