Work and travel can be one in the same when you start your aviation career at PSA Airlines. As a PSA pilot, you’ll be part of a close-knit team of passionate, dedicated individuals.

Minimum PSA Pilot Qualifications
• Necessary hours and qualifications under the ATP requirements or the restricted
ATP requirements 
• 25 Hours Multi-Engine required with actual aircraft, not sim time (FAR 61.159)
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit
• First Class Medical
• Valid Passport

Pilots may apply to PSA Airlines if within three months of meeting these minimum qualifications.

What should you expect from your pilot training once you accept a position at PSA Airlines?

• 26 Days 

• 1-2 Days (including travel)

• Based on SIM availability

• 12 Days

• Base Aircraft (CRJ700/900) – 25 Flight Hours Minimum
• Differences Aircraft (CRJ200) – 10 Flight Hours Minimum

* Training days listed above do not include scheduled days off. Estimated time for training is 12.5 weeks

The PSA Family 

As a PSA flight attendant, you are part of a family. The co-workers you will meet quickly become friends for life. Everyone at PSA, from scheduling personnel to mechanics and pilots, is devoted to providing safe, on-time flights across America.


  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Competent in handling difficult situations, problem solving and complaint resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; friendly reception of all customers
  • Must present a professional image, may not have visible tattoos, facial, multiple or upper ear piercing, or extreme hair color or style while in Flight Attendant Uniform
  • Maximum height of 6.0 ft., minimum height of 5 ft. 2 in.
  • Must have the ability to walk and fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle while facing forward, fit quickly through the over-wing exit and sit in the flight attendant jump seat without modification or a seat belt extension
  • Work in climates and locations across the country and work variable shifts
  • Able to attend up 4 weeks of training in Dayton, OH, and thereafter are assigned to one of our 4 crew bases. All candidates must be willing to be based from any of our base locations including Charlotte NC, Cincinnati, OH, Dayton, OH and Knoxville, TN.


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • College education or two years’ customer service experience preferred
  • Prior airline experience is not required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be in possession of a valid US or Foreign Passport with applicable VISAs
  • Must possess the legal right to travel unrestricted to/from all countries that are served by American Airlines
  • Travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment
  • Must have the right to work in the United States

Relocation Bonus:

$2500 relocation bonus available for all new-hire A&P's that start in our Dayton or Cincinnati bases.

A&P Maintenance Personnel Hiring Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience preferred, but not required

    I have been working at PSA Airlines full-time (More than a year)


    Inflight is great! Easy to find crash pad in bases. Great overnights. Wonderful crew. Safe pilots. Good paid training! It's nice being at Clt easy to commute home!


    Hard to swap trips! Scheduling sometimes isn't very knowledgeable. The crew to management communication could improve a bit. No sap for flight attendants.

    I have just been invited for an interview. The process is different then the other reviewer's now. I applied online and got an email to complete the assessment the next day. It is mostly selecting answers, but at the end it asked me three questions via video interview. It didn't let me know that I would have a video interview, but I was able to exit out and get ready then bring it back up. I actually had some technical problems on my computer and could only get it to work on my smartphone. You can stop and re-record your answers so it's not too hard. I submitted my assessment and VI in the morning and got an email for the invite to an interview later that afternoon! The process is now different then any of the other reviews I read, but it might be the same in the face to face interview. I haven't been to that yet.
