I have been working at Pace University full-time (Less than a year)
There is a great work life balance. Really great environment to work in. The tuition remission is a really nice perk for working here. The benefits are excellent. There is a lot of room for growth and opportunity if you're a hard worker. The staff and faculty here are for the most part really friendly and always willing to help you out if you need it.
How much you enjoy your job really depends on the department you're in and who your boss is.
No interview. I was certified as a lifeguard at Pace University, at the end of the training sessions I was asked to work there. I guess in a sense my whole training was part of the interview. I only spoke with the aquatics director and not with any one from HR. There is a simple skill evaluation before you can work there. It insisted in a doing a few saves and answering a few questions about lifeguarding.
