I have been working at Paceline Collision (More than 3 years)
Great pay. Great facilities. Professional work environment. Ok insurance. On the job education. My facility manager is the best I couldn't ask for a better one if I tried. He goes above and beyond for me. He is literally in my opinion the best they have but they treat him very poorly. He has grow his facility to be the biggest one in their network... You know who you are. The ceo is a great guy I've watched him wash and detail cars. I've watched him take the trash out. He does what needs to be done. And hes not afraid to get dirty. He cares for the employees. Too bad that doesn't trickle down to his upper management.
Upper management is a joke and has unrealistic goals and expectations that they can't even meet themselves. They say they care about your family time but they do not. They only care about their cycle times. I've been asked to come in on weekends and on holidays with zero incentive. An extreme amount of empty promises to become management is normally how they get you in the door but that's as far as that goes. I work an extreme amount of hours for the company and all they want is more and when I don't and decide to have family time upper management gets upset. Upper management seems way to consumed by what's on a spread sheet rather then what's in the department.
Advice to Management
They need to take a better look at their upper management and how they treat people and their lower management. Don't give your employees empty promises and never back them up. Make families first. Put the computers down and talk and associate with the employees and make them fell important because in this field it's very hard to find good loyal employees and facility manager's.... take care of the people that take care of you......
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Paceline Collision (Abilene, TX).
Had an interview and even a 2nd interview that went well and then 4 hours after 2nd interview for an email from them declining my application for further process and no explanation
