I have been working at PacifiCorp full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good pay in the union shops. Rewarding and challenging work. Relaxed environment. Management doesn't micromanage or get overly involved in day to day work.

    Cons

Management has no direct experience in the job they are managing. There is no training program to speak of. There is no budget for training and development, or even mundane things like paper plates. Standards are so lax, that everyone pretty much does whatever they want.

    Advice to Management

    Invest more into your people.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at PacifiCorp (Portland, OR) in December 2015.

    Interview

they had lot of situational questions along with technical questions. It was a first group panel interview followed by one on one interview. Post interview they had background check process before they offer the position. Expectations were clearly spelled out before the interview.
