Pacific Project Management – Why Work For Us?

Pacific Project Management  is a client centered team of professionals who set the client’s goals and objectives as our own. Our team works with each client to establish and deliver the space goals based on the future and sometimes in flex operating models.  We advise the client and lead the team to balance out the first costs and speed to market requirements with the long term operational goals, so that the client can concentrate on their business at hand and on the future of their operating model.

Our goals are to be your trusted leader in project delivery from conception through occupancy and beyond.

Our values are simple….

  • Service – Listen, engage and take “ownership” of the client’s goals and objectives.
  • Trust – Be consistent, be proactive, and deliver on your word.
  • Integrity – Take the high road, be fair, and do the right thing every time.
  • Honesty – Provide expertise and suggestions early and often to help mitigate risk and drive value.
  • Leadership – By serving, building trust, having integrity, and providing honest recommendations, our team will lead our clients and partners to exceptional project outcomes.

It’s in our People! The foundation of Pacific Project Management is in the knowledge and expertise of our individual team members and their ability to leverage their past experiences in a variety of backgrounds including commercial real estate, construction, design, engineering, and accounting.

Each of our team members understands the importance of properly representing the clients, developing and leading strong and balanced project teams, and maximizing the desired project outcomes. We feel that while all of our team members can stand on their own, the strength of our integrated collaborative team approach is what sets Pacific Project Management ahead in our project delivery approach.

Our values are simple… Service, Trust, Integrity, Honesty & Leadership We are looking for people who believe in these values for their clients, their teammates and for themselves. We believe in team and a collaborative work environment. Every position we hire for will part of this growing company and have a direct impact on the future of our success.  We care about our clients, our community, and our team and strive to make a positive impact on all of them.

What our team members are saying about us: “I’m proud to be a part of such a dynamic & talented team” “It feels great to be part of such an amazing company and work with such great people” “Pacific cares about my individual success, not just the success of the company”

The projects we manage make an impact on a community.  Whether it's a new hospital, a better work space, or a local gathering spot, we are committed to working with clients who share our commitment to creating spaces where individuals, families, and businesses can thrive together.

In addition, as a company we believe that it is our responsibility to make sure we are always find ways to make a positive impact on our community.  Each year a percentage of the annual budget is set aside to support the communities we live and work in every day.  This may be a team volunteering event, a fundraising event, or a company match to an organization that you are passionate about through our donation match program.

A sample of some of the organizations that we support thru volunteer time and donations are Red Cross, Food LifeLine, YWCA, FareStart, Safe Crossings, YMCA, Nativity School, Fred Hutch, Childrens Hospital and Boys and Girls Club.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Pacific Project Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are a lot of great people who work here. The company is small enough that you get to know everyone but large enough to have a great community culture. The work is exciting and there are a lot of opportunities to move around the company and get a lot of different experiences.

    Cons

I get a little nervous sometimes that the company is growing too fast and not being able to keep up.

    Advice to Management

Great work with communication and showing everyone that their thoughts count towards the larger community!

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Pacific Project Management (Seattle, WA) in September 2016.

    Interview

Questions too standard, did not ask the type of questions that could shows the company is open minded and receptive. The interview was not a conversation, but a set of questions as if someone is simply checking the box. I did receive the offer, but felt that the interview process could be improved greatly. The manager of the area I work for drove the interview versus letting his team speak much.

    Interview Questions

    • Tell me where you see yourself in 5 years. What are your strengths, weaknesses. What gets me upset, not sure this was asked in the correct HR way, in fact this should be raised to HR.
Do I like a closed or open environment, working alone or in a team?   1 Answer
