Since 2008, they've shrunk the payroll nearly every single year as readers migrate from print to digital. They're just not making the money on digital needed to support the huge staff of the print days. Still, they're putting out the best local news in the region.
Advice to Management
You can't shrink your way to profitability. People won't pay more for less. Focus on what makes you special.

A very simple interview which was nothing but a light conversation. A few questions were asked about how I plan and executive my sales plan. Very easy. I had a second interview with another manager which revolved around talking about sports. No wonder the newspaper is dying if not dead
