This month, we held our first alumni social in Dallas where we unveiled the Finity brand story and logo. It was an amazing event with more than 40 alumni attending, spanning across Pariveda’s 15 years along with several Dallas Management Team members. We look forward to bringing Finity events to additional markets in 2019!
In 2003, we asked one simple question. Can a technology consulting firm be successful by focusing first on growing the individual to their fullest potential? We believed that through an unwavering commitment to developing people we could create a different kind of company. We created Pariveda. At our very core, we desire to help the individual grow through learning, coaching and giving to others to achieve their fullest potential. The individual is defined as our people, our clients, recruits, alumni, and our communities.
It is through this belief in helping the individual, counter to industry norms, we have grown revenue each and every year since 2003. We believe in providing for the security and well-being of our people and their families through an ESOP where stock is earned from the very first day of work, 401k match, paid sabbaticals and 100% paid medical. We employ a cohort model for compensation in order to foster collaboration across our employees. All employees at a certain level are paid the same so that no individual focuses on their own credit but rather the success of the collective firm.
We leverage a proprietary Expectations Framework (EF) to guide the career development of our employees. The EF maps our expectations across 5 core dimensions (Effectiveness, Business of IT, Relationships, Leadership, and Others First). This creates a clear framework for coaching our employees to achieve their maximum potential through rigorous development.

There are many good things about Pariveda: we have a transparent pay-scale, an ESOP, a clearly defined career path, and a large emphasis on mentorship that will help you feel supported in your career journey.
Additionally, with Pariveda being so mission-driven it can leave you feeling inspired to find what your personal passion is and integrate it into your professional life. This further boosts engagement and career growth which I personally value most.
If you are looking to grow and be stretched in ways that you haven't before, this is the place to do that. There are many opportunities to have an impact on both your local market and the company as a whole regardless of your position.
With growth comes discomfort so not everyone will thrive under the strong feedback culture we have (although this was a personal growth area for myself that I was able to overcome at Pariveda). Additionally, your career is in your hands. While there is support and development opportunities along the way, it's ultimately up to you to take the initiative and implement changes as you grow. The commitment to growth and learning may not be for everyone.
Advice to Management
Keep being open and eliciting feedback at all levels of the organization. We will never be perfect but if we continue practicing our core values we will adapt over time and survive the challenges that lay ahead.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Pariveda Solutions (Austin, TX).
I met them at a university career fair, had a genuine conversation with the recruiter. They reached out a few weeks later for on campus interview. I was invited to a dinner before the interview where I met a lot of the company VPs. Interviewed the next day on campus, interview was all behavioral.
There was no negotiation, they sent me an offer letter for the internship and I accepted.
