We value progress over perfection. Our work is both innovative and practical.
We collaborate with our team, our partners and the community enabling us to go further, faster. There is power in diversity and numbers.
We have a servant approach and mind frame. Caring about each other, our partners and those we serve in the community is what motivates us every single day.
We go beyond what is asked of us. Expectations are starting points.
We balance Innovation with science. Our work is grounded in scientific principles and rigor.
“We can do it if…” vs “We can’t do it because…”. We see healthcare, not as it is, but as it can become.

I have been working at Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation full-time (Less than a year)
I'm excited to go to work daily. I'm willing and excited to come in early and stay as late as needed. At the point in my life the environment is key. I'm surrounded by brilliant people, that are creative, innovative and yes collaborative. I'm constantly busy doing something. I don't have time to be bored. Overall I feel appreciated, I go over and beyond first because that's who I am, but its important that I give PCCI 110%. I love my Director, she is not micro managing. She appreciates my contributions and she is very good at acknowledging that. I feel she wants me to succeed in my role. That means the world to me. I feel I have a open door policy with her. My CEO ,I simply adore! He's management style is absolutely incredible. He's warm, caring and very relatable. He delivery is genuine. He is meticulous, places importance on details. He is very observant. He makes you want to work with him and for him. I am so proud and blessed to be here.
There are a few challenges and very small concerns. I am confidant that in my tenure these needs will be addressed.
Advice to Management
To really know every role of your employees. Not just by job description, Know the roles to be able to do them and to understand the responsibilities of your employees.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation (Dallas, TX) in July 2016.
Initial screening was done through Skype (no video). I was invited onsite and met with et with 5 team members, including the recruiter. All team members were wonderful and pleasant. Attire was business casual and interview was casual. During the interview, I asked each team member expectation and duties of the position. Each one had a different answer from what the hiring manager had told me. However recruiter lacked professionalism. She kept cutting off interviews, would not look at me while asking questions. Didn't show any interest in me as a candidate for the position. It seemed as if she was talking down to me the entire time. Recruiter is an RPO used from pieces tech.
