Great people, solid company in the past. Culture of trying to do the right thing, and positive work environment where the expectation is that you treat people with respect. Smart, technical people that have done well by the shareholders.
Currently in turmoil due to uncertainty over either (a) merger with Axis where lots of people will lose jobs; or (2) takeover by Exor, where it is not clear who would lead the company or how it would be positioned in the market. Senior management used to be extremely strong, but massive turnover of good people at the top has weakened that position even before Costas Miranthis walked out after the Axis deal was announced.
Advice to Management
Takeover uncertainty needs to be resolved quickly to restore productivity.
