Partnership HealthPlan of California – Why Work For Us?

Partnership HealthPlan of California (PHC) is a non-profit community based health care organization that contracts with the State to administer Medi-Cal benefits through local care providers to ensure Medi-Cal recipients have access to high-quality comprehensive cost-effective health care. PHC provides quality health care to over 560,000 lives. Beginning in Solano County in 1994, PHC now provides services to 14 Northern California counties - Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Marin, Mendocino, Modoc, Napa, Shasta, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Trinity and Yolo.

Here at Partnership HealthPlan of California (PHC) our work touches the lives of California's most vulnerable populations - children, low-income, people with disability, and those with mental illnesses. Serving these populations is what motivates us each day (and lots of coffee).

We strive to become the most highly regarded health plan in California.  This vision helps us to ensure that our members receive the best available health care.

Achieving our vision can only be accomplished by retaining and recruiting a talented team. We place an emphasis on our team growing both professionally and personally. Our Training and Development team assists us in honing our professional skills with a variety of courses. And an excellent benefits package allows you to finally take up that hobby you have been trying to take up the last few years.

Maintaining a talented team means that we take a moment to recognize the valuable work of our team members (plus we like to eat). These moments of recognition include an annual employee recognition luncheon, department potlucks, impromptu birthday celebrations … did we mention we like to eat.

With four regional offices, there are many opportunities to join the PHC team. Click below to see what opportunities await you.

*Please no calls from recruiting or staffing agencies.

We offer an excellent benefit package, including:

  • Health (nominal cost to employee)
  • Dental (no premium cost to employee)
  • Vision (no premium cost to employee)

I have been working at Partnership HealthPlan of California full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Amazing benefits and compensation! Lots of employee engagement activities and internal growth opportunities. It is enlightening to work for a company that truly supports and cares about the employees and the community we serve.

    Cons

There is nothing at this time that I can report that would keep me up at nights. There is always room for opportunity and the management team take staff input and suggestions seriously.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work in engaging the staff! You care about your employees. Continue to address any opportunities that will make the employment experience positive.
