I have been working at Payette Group (Less than a year)
Supportive team environment which is key in a sales position. If you want to make money - you have the control to do so and everyone in the company (including the CEO) is willing to do what it takes to help you do that. World-class training that prepares you to be more than successful. The entire crew is outdoorsy and takes the "Work hard, play harder," mentality very seriously - company ski passes, lunch time mountain bike rides, after-work kayaking sessions, and more!
You're selling in an extremely competitive industry, but the leadership team makes sure that you have all the training you need to kill it.
Advice to Management
Keep on doing your thing! Thanks for the support!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Payette Group (Ketchum, ID) in June 2015.
I responded to a newspaper add in the town paper (Ketchum, Idaho) and the manager very quickly responded, which was a very pleasant surprise. Their quick response time during the entire duration of the time I interviewed was a pleasure. I had a great first in-person interview with them, their words, not mine, and they asked me back to their office again for another on-site interview. I spoke both times with about five employees of the company and liked them all very much. Though the office was small and a bit cramped, I really like the environment, feel, and company culture. After the second on-site interview and meeting the general manager for the first time, they sent me home with a contract to look over and they said that if my references checked out, I would start on maybe Monday or Tuesday, their exact words. Though I was very confident that I would receive an offer, they took much longer to get back to me than they had said after my second on-site interview. Once I heard back from them it was via email and they informed me that they had chosen to go with someone else. This was rather frustrating, as they had handed me a contract, indicating that, with all they'd said, I'd start working for them tentatively. Soon after they contacted me again and said they were still very interested and would like to have a happy hour meet up, which we did. Soon after, we lost contact and they did not reach out again.
