Great department to work for. Very organized. Flexible with your schedule. Managers are understanding and helpful. Other agents are extremely supportive.
Occasionally you'll deal with very high end customers and it can be tricky trying to please them. Guidelines for stay and play can be difficult to work around. However, they'll give you all the tools you'll need to be successful.
Advice to Management
I don't have anything negative to say about management. This department runs like a well oiled machine. There is a bit of turn over. More than likely due to compensation. It can be difficult to live in the Monterey area for $35,000/ year.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pebble Beach (Pebble Beach, CA) in August 2017.
Initial interview with Manager and Assistant Managers. Then they have you sit in on some live conversations so you can get a feel for the position and what it will require. They're very open and honest about the job and its difficulty level. They didn't leave anything out. They were not intimidating.
