    Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Peerless Technologies (Fairborn, OH) in October 2012.

    Interview

Was contacted by telephone from the VP of HR who indicated that he had received my resume from someone in the industry. We had a very delightful conversation about their organization and what they were looking for in support of a potential new contract. After a 30 minute phone conversation, he asked if I could meet with a few other employees the following week.
The following week I met with 3 individuals who I would be working directly with. It was a very informal discussion of my qualifications and experience. I was then given a tour of the area and introduced to a few more employees. Later that day I was contacted again by phone to set up an interview with two VP's that had recently joined the organization. Again this meeting was further discussion of my experience and abilities. More in depth than the previous interviews but still very relaxed atmosphere.
Following that interview I was asked to come back in to meet with yet another group of individuals. This meeting was more like the standard interview that had pre-selected questions. The interviewers were team members selected to get their impressions of me. They asked many of the standard questions like: what's your strengths? What's you weakness? When have you had a stressful situation and how did you handle it? This was about a 30 minute meeting and then I left.
Ultimately I did not take the position at this location due to the new contract not being awarded.
