Penguin Air & Plumbing enjoys giving back to our community because we know a thriving community is a happy community! This was our sole purpose for starting Penguin Air Cares.
Penguin Air Cares is an on-going program where we partner with local charities and relief efforts to give back. Our program started out as a seasonal effort with one big event annually every December in observance of Christmas. Starting in 2017, we plan to expand the frequency of our efforts to a quarterly event, if not more.
This season we have partnered with the Arizona Department of Child Safety via their program The Giving Tree #DCSGivingTree.

I have been working at Penguin Air & Plumbing full-time (Less than a year)
The interview process was more like a conversation. We didnt go over every job or detail on my resume. Shows they actually believe in what i can do & bring to the team. Everyone has the we are a team attitude. Very willing to help each other. Training is very thorough. They bbq every other friday for employee appreciation. The managers & leads always say great job guys & thank you. They constantly acknowledge your good work. It's a family!
The pay is lower than what I'm used to (still more than min wage) but they do have commission & bonuses you can earn to make up the difference.
Advice to Management
Keep showing appreciation for your employees. It really goes a long way! They are the backbone of the company!

Easy and transparent among all that I interviewed with. There’s no lengthy or miss understood verbiage. Was extremely excited to get started knowing some of the previous employers were leaving a lot of the specifics out.
