Mission: To establish Penn National Gaming as a profitable and respected leader in the gaming and racing industries, and as a valued partner in our communities and a role model for ethical business standards.
I have been working at Penn National Gaming part-time
great coworkers, flexible scheduling, fun environment
customers can be pretty rude, hours can be odd because it is open 24/7
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Penn National Gaming (Las Vegas, NV).
Applied online. Received a call to interview at a job fair. Highly unorganized, took over an hour to be screened. Passed the prescreening (group style with managers from other departments and 1 HR representative) and was told to leave my contact info because hiring managers had went home for the day. Did not hear back, followed up with a call to HR, was informed that they received an overwhelming response and hadn't gotten to everyone yet. Received an email a week later thanking me for "interviewing" but they are pursuing other candidates even though I didn't get the opportunity to and passed the prescreen. Extremely poor recruitment practices, horrible unorganized company and does not live their values.
