Leadership Development Programs

Our Leadership Development Programs are designed to give recent graduates three years of diverse, real-world experience through rotational opportunities at multiple facility locations. Participants will gain hands-on experience from our top-performing teams and work closely with Pentair's senior leadership.

We offer Leadership Development Programs in the following areas: Engineering, Finance & Accounting, and Operations & Supply Chain.

Our pre-graduate programs are designed to help you explore your future career interests and open doors to new experiences. Grow your understanding of international business, work hands on with the teams behind Pentair's innovative products and receive mentorship from our leaders. Engineering at Pentair

We at Pentair are continuously working to deliver new and innovative water solutions. We make it possible for customers to improve water quality, motion, and recreational enjoyment. Whether it's designing a smart filter for your backyard pool, a new pump system for an aquaculture farm in Fiji, or saving a sports field millions of gallons of water usage through rainwater recycling, our engineers are focused on improving life's most valuable resource one solution at a time.

Pentair's Innovation Centers: 

In advancing our commitment to innovation, we have recently opened multiple Pentair Innovation Centers. These centers serve as a technology center of expertise for IoT and advanced electronics labs. Our Aquatic Systems Center in Apex, North Carolina, features both above and in ground swimming pools that allows us to test our pool products onsite. Collaborative workspaces and live demonstration/training rooms allow engineers to work directly with dealers while developing new products!

The Future of Technology at Pentair:

Internet of Things. The future of connected devices is in the hands of today’s engineers. Here at Pentair we are investing in IoT technological advancements with new product development and enhancement of our existing product lines.     GREAT work life balance
    Leaders are focused on coaching/teaching instead of delegating
    Good visibility with the c-suite
    The new Pentair is based on our win right values and focuses on balancing accountability with empathy for others.

    Really great place to start off your career. I've never experienced the coaching and opportunity Pentair offers at other companies.

    Cons

    We are a lean organization, sometimes we run VERY lean.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to invest in coaching/teaching programs for your employee. Developing employees at a young age for long careers at Pentair.
