I have been working at Peoples Products full-time (More than a year)
The leads are very warm so cold calling is non-existent. The upper management is positive in their leadership. Management wants to see an employee succeed.
Hours are very infrequent. Could be working until 9pm one night and start work the next day at 8am. With six day a week schedules that can be draining. Unless one plans on moving to outside sales or a position gets created from scratch there isn't that much room for growth.
Advice to Management
Create more opportunities within the company. Keep up the positive attitude.
I applied online. I interviewed at Peoples Products (Newington, CT) in June 2017.
Went through the first interview and it went well everything was fine, the first person that interviewed me told me that he wanted me to be the digital marketing manager and I accepted. Come to the second interview and the owner completely shattered the expectations! He said that the position was for events on the weekends all over the state and that if I made more commission than base pay, I was not going to get the base pay but only the comission. Mind you I am a college graduate meaning that I do have high expectations.
