I have been working at Per Mar Security Services part-time (More than 3 years)
Doing special events for the company can be a lot of fun. It's something different all the time. You can come into this company with no experience and leave a totally different person.
It's extremely cliquey working events. The coordinator for events has his girlfriend as his assistant. You don't get promoted on merit, it's on who you know and how close you are to the inner circle. Complaining about supervisors can (and has) consequently led to your hours being messed with. It frequently feels as though you are back in high school. If you're looking for any sort of stability you're better off going through the licensing process and working at sites versus events. There's too many empty promises in events and the senior management pays little to no attention.
Advice to Management
Pay more attention to the events side of the company, not just the sites. A lot of good employees are lost by the management of the events.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Per Mar Security Services.
It was ok..mwent fast and it went ok but they asked few questions so it went quick and I don't know why glass door wants 30 wptds and ok on ok it will be ok it
