    Software Developer Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Madison, WI
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at PerBlue (Madison, WI) in January 2020.

    Interview

The process took me about a month to complete. The interview is well organized. There are some general behavioral questions and some coding questions that are of moderate difficulty. The people I talked to are nice and well-prepared. The questions for you are more on the practical side and system design side rather than algorithms. Knowing specific knowledge such as database and concurrency will help you a lot.

    Interview Questions

    • Basic SQL questions. How to optimize? How to store something? How to prevent injection?
Concurrency: Deadlock, N process one resource, some concurrent system design questions.
Behavioral: What would you take on a deserted island? What is the time when you used and trusted other people's code   Answer Question
