I worked at Performance Institute full-time

    Pros

Nice people working there, nice location, especially their new offices. PI has a good reputation in the Federal government and offers some strong courses.

    Cons

Didn't receive a lot of support in terms of technology, audio-visual, marketing, etc. Change in leadership took them in a direction that was not to my liking.

    Advice to Management

Be clear on your strategy. What is PI all about, where do you want to go and how do you plan to get there?

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Performance Institute in February 2007.

    Interview

I was brought in for a 1 to 1 interview and then had a phone call interview with another manager. I have worked their before, so once I accepted the offer, I had to apply online take some tests and submit paperwork. The workplace had drastically improved since the first time I had worked there.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

Negotiate reasonably. Make an offer to prove yourself and then renegotiate in a 3 month review.
