    Pros

The culture at Pershing was great -- all of the employees were super nice, and I loved interacting with them!

    Cons

I loved working at Pershing, but I found myself doing many menial tasks as an intern. Would've loved to have more responsibility!

Business Technology - Vice President Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Jersey City, NJ
    No Offer
    Negative Experience

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Pershing (Jersey City, NJ).

    Interview

I received an email from the HR recruiter asking if I was available for a phone interview with the hiring MD and that she would provide a call-in number once I confirmed. She provided a specific date and time, two weeks out. I responded right away that I would be available; she didn't respond. I reached out to the recruiter a few days before the interview to confirm and asked about the call-in number, but I never heard back from her. I figured the interview was off and scheduled another meeting at that time. Funny enough, she leaves me a VM 15 minutes after my scheduled interview asking if we need to reschedule (HA!). I called her back after my meeting and left her a VM APOLOGIZING for the misunderstanding and that I did not have a number to call for the interview. I followed-up with two emails. I never heard back from her.
End of story....not interested in Pershing.
