I have been working at Peterbilt full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits and a pension plan. Work force is loyal and great to work with. Plant employees are loyal and incredible.

    Cons

Only 2 weeks of vacation for the 1st 5 years, pay is below market average for exempt employees. Most departments run lean, and you can work as much overtime as you want.

    Advice to Management

Could be a lot of openings in engineering and purchasing with Toyota locating to Frisco, TX.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Peterbilt (Ramsey, NJ).

    Interview

Talked to developers and management. It was a three step process that started with a phone internview then moved onto specific interviews with members of the company. The ceo was pretty nice. They had food. Each applicant had their own interview process.
