Our “Learn-To-Earn” programme focuses on trainees coming into the business ensuring they have the skills to become a successful consultant which includes understanding what the role of a recruitment consultant is whilst exploring the three core areas of a 360 consultant, the candidate cycle, the client cycle and the vacancy cycle. By the end of the programme each consultant has the knowledge of developing new clients, key marketing techniques and becoming a trusted partner for both candidates and clients alike.
Our “Learn-To-Leap” programme focuses on transitioning employees from consultant level to principal consultant. This programme is designed as a fast track to the next opportunity within Phaidon. At the heart of the programme we aim to ensure our consultants are working smarter and not just harder. They are empowered to take control of their business and drive profitability utilising advanced sales skills as well as neuro-linguistic programming, SWOT analysis and the PARETO principal. Consultants completing this programme have a global view of their role in the business and embark on a programme of mentoring and coaching trainees coming into the business.
Our “Learn –To-Lead” programme is a management training programme. For those who want to go into management, we also provide structured training to help the future leaders of the company.
All consultants on succession to management receive a maximising performance folder which supports upcoming managers through all the steps of managing a team.
In addition, the “Learn-To-Lead” programme is supported by a series of CPD certified courses such as Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
I have been working at Phaidon International full-time (More than a year)
I've been working at Phaidon for a year now and having left my previous employer after 10 years, I've learned more under the roof of PI than in a decade+ with my prior company. It's ambitious, challenging, opportunistic, and has a meritocratic environment that's tough not to love. It cares about you being a part of it, so it repays the favor. Very thankful to have taken the leap of faith into a new company and career and it wouldn't have been right if not for Phaidon.
Communication can be a challenge. It's a global company, expanding fast and applauding the creativity so time zones and geography can cause a limited time to collaborate and because it employs intelligent people who care about those things the same, you can have a lot of ideas coming from a lot of different areas. It's going through a lot of the fun nuances involved with a fast-growing company so been fun to watch the transition.
Advice to Management
Keeping a strong focus on the current employees & up and coming managers is equally as important as the new employees joining.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Phaidon International (Chicago, IL).
Consisted of 4 separate interviews. One phone screening, one formal phone interview, one Skype interview with 3 separate people and one in person interview. Overall the process went incredibly smoothly. My contact was excellent with keeping me up to date during the process.
