“I joined Phase One nine years ago. When other companies were just building diagrams, Phase One had a well thought out delivery approach with enterprise architecture. Our leadership has adapted to its new reality over time. I’ve been able to do things here I couldn’t do in much larger companies.” -Richie Stockholm, Lead Associate
"I came to Phase One because I clicked with my manager, Katherine, and I hit it off with Phase One's client. They said I would work on high level strategy, and do management consultant type work, and they followed through. I'm building a CIO shop with the government from scratch."
-Corey Chambliss, Associate
Phase One is committed to diversity
At Phase One we challenge each other’s perceptions, push ideas further, and work together to build solutions. We are committed to achieving success. Attracting the best talent—regardless of race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or veteran status – is always our top priority.
Simply put, we know that a diversified workforce makes us a smarter organization. It's the way we do business and live our lives. It's who we are.
Phase One is an equal opportunity employer
Phase One is committed to employ and advance in employment qualified minorities, women, individuals with disabilities, and covered veterans (including but not limited to, disabled veterans, recently separated veterans, Armed Forces service medal veterans, and other protected veterans).
The client needs are the priority. At Phase One, the goal is to be the "people behind the people." Phase One wants to bring your ideas to life.
WE PUT THE CLIENT FIRST
We focus on delivering valuable results for our customers. We understand that value is defined by our customers, not by us. And the value we deliver is sustainable—it lasts.
We maintain a future orientation with the customer, anticipating their needs and seeking to meet those needs before being asked.
WE RESPECT THOSE WITH WHOM WE WORK
We are warm, welcoming, and respectful to all those we meet. We praise rather than insult; thank others rather than take credit ourselves; laugh with others rather than at them.
We respect and protect Phase One and are loyal to our colleagues.
WE DO GOOD WORK
We are honest. We are true to our word and meet our commitments. We are willing to take a stand in the face of resistance or challenge from others for our beliefs.
We learn all the time. We are innovative and we love to fit things together in new ways.
Our culture is paramount to our success, balancing hard work and client dedication with social and team building activities. Phase One and its staff make a commitment to professional development, supporting each other in pursuit of careers goals and contributing to innovative and leading edge solutions.
"I love the passion and brilliance in our leadership at Phase One. Jerad is incredibly inspiring to work for. This company cares so much about its people, that our leadership is willing to rewrite the book for staff."
-Karen Turner, Senior Proposal Manager
"I really like the direction, and way my team plans projects. Terrianne planned a whole sprint for gathering requirements, and another for just fixing bugs. We can get our ducks in a row and start our development on time. It's a dream come true for me."
-Sachin Pareek, Salesforce Consultant
We care about the well-bring of our employees and their families. We believe our benefits should make a difference to you, to your job, and to the life you lead outside of work.
Phase One provides multiple plans and services for you to select the best fit for you and your family. Phase One's success depends on the contributions and commitment of its employees, and it is our mission to support you in your work here.
"I receive a lot of external training here. For the next month, I will be in PMP training, where I can learn how to do formalized management outside my day to day responsibilities. Phase One fosters that, and they're helping me with this credit. They not only grow your skillset, they grow your career."
-Naveen Bokhari, Solutions Project Manager

I have been working at Phase One CG full-time
I really enjoy working with my team - everyone is really smart and motivated.
I have worked on a number of government clients, which keeps the job interesting.
The government contracting environment can be risky, but so far I haven't had any problems being staffed on jobs.
I applied online. I interviewed at Phase One CG (Alexandria, VA).
Recruiter reached out, would be very unresponsive. I would have to keep reaching out to set up phone interview. Finally made it through phone interview, met director in person, called & seemed very excited for me to join team but wanted me to speak with client first. Had a call with client, and after was told I would get offer. Literally took over a week to get an offer out and I responded back to negotiate. Recruiter went MIA for a week and then finally reached back out when I told them I already had accepted another offer. The entire process took 2 months. Literally in the time I got my initial offer and the time they got back to me with an updated offer, I had time to have a phone interview, had 3 in person interviews and gotten an offer from another company.
Seems very disorganized and unresponsive. Not the kind of company I would work for.
Word of advice? Get offer out as soon as possible if you truly value the candidate. Otherwise, another company will be quick to snatch him/her!
