I have been working at Phenomenex full-time (More than a year)
Folks here work hard and play hard. Very unique corporate culture centered around philanthropy and fun. There is also plenty of opportunity if you are a workaholic to go above and beyond.
Pay is sub par to industry standards, though "fair" in some respects. Since it's been around for 30+ years, there are a lot of old habits that die hard and these are especially seen through upper management. Politics, especially since it really is "family owned" but every company has them. Company fosters a mentality of putting out fires instead of setting up systems to prevent fires. Growing pains from medium to larger company.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Phenomenex (Torrance, CA) in August 2015.
Two interviews. One with manager and one with the general manager company. overall they were very. We really want to experience day-to-day. Their questions were very specific about I did certain things each and every day
