Advice to Management
Some of the senior managers can be intimidated by a young, active and driven employee.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Phillips & Jordan (Marietta, OH) in July 2013.
The hiring process consisted of them calling and asking me to come to Ohio. I showed up and went through safety and orientation training and drug testing the next day. There was never an actual interview or any questions other than over the phone they asked what equipment I could operate.
They told me what they were paying operators and I didn't really try to negotiate as I really needed to get the job.
