I have been working at Physical Optics Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)
best opportunities for career advancement than at any place I've ever worked before
growing very fast - it's a little scary. Haven't dumped the old dead wood yet.
Advice to Management
You know about the old dead wood, right? Why are you hesitating?
I applied online. I interviewed at Physical Optics Corporation.
POC invited me for an on-site interview. I interviewed with three different managers. At least one appeared to be confused about which job I was interviewing for. Halfway through the on-site interview, I figured out that I didn't want the job.
I would have really appreciated a phone screening prior to an on-site interview. The phone screening would have let me figure out that I wasn't interested in the job, so I and the interviewers wouldn't have had to waste our time.
