I worked at Physicians' Reciprocal Insurers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I loved everyone I worked with, from co-workers, to doctors and brokers. This was a very face-paced work environment so there was never time to be bored.

    Cons

The only bad thing was the lack of parking spaces. I never enjoyed taking the shuttle bus, but as soon as I got my own space in the building i was happy.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Physicians' Reciprocal Insurers (Roslyn, NY).

    Interview

There was a phone call with a brief interview over the phone with human resources. A face to face interview with HR was then set up. At this interview you take a test first then sit down to speak with them. If you do not do well on the test the interview cannot procedd. If they want to possibly hire you then an interview with the director of the department is set up. Everyone that I met with was kind and professional.

    Interview Questions

    • No difficult questions. Laid back interview. You have to take a three part test in order to move on in the interview process. If you do not know medical terminology well this position is not for you. You must get a perfect score on the first part to move on at all.   Answer Question
