Advice to Management
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Piaggio Vehicles (Pune (India)) in March 2015.
Had a telephonic interview which was mainly to my current role, designation, hierarchy level, nature of work, my significant contribution to the current organization, previous work experiences and why did i plan to leave the organization. Then one day i got a call from company asking me to meet ZM-sales who had come down to my base location, Again the interviews was more or less similar to telephonic interview. Then I was asked to meet SVP-sales in the HO at Pune. The interview was about half an hour. SVP was interested in knowing what difference did i make in my current role, how did i counter the seemingly formidable competition, what segments i had targeted and why and also about the latest developments in the industry. He explained my role going to be in the company and asked me to prepare a report on how i am going to achieve my objectives if i am given the opportunity. Made a report and sent to him in a couple of days time and i was given an offer letter.
