I worked at Picnic full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Young, enthusiastic team which comes up with a lot of ideas
    - Great atmosphere and start-up culture
    - Challenging tasks
    - Really innovative and disruptive start-up
    - Job involves continual learning

    Cons

Don't have anything to say about cons. Working hours are bit longer than in corporation, but this's what you expected in each start-up.

    Advice to Management

    Application

The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Picnic (Amsterdam (Netherlands)).

    Interview

The process took 3 months and consisted of: phone call with HR, 3 online analytical tests (40min each), 3 on-site interviews, an on-site case study with the team (you have from 9 to 18 to analyze a bunch of data and present your recommendations), and another final interview (where I was told to be a great fit). Only met smart and motivated people, good environment, looks like interesting work.
However: the role responsibilities were kept vague the whole time, HR literally never gave feedback about any step of the process until I asked for it (usually after weeks of radio silence), and finally I got rejected after having only received positive feedback along the process.
So, despite the positive experience I had during the on-site phases, the process was disappointing and not transparent.
