Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Pros- Really strong mission that the entire company is passionate about - Great culture of kindness and empathy - A good approach to balancing fully remote work with the option for regular in person
Cons- It is a startup so things like long-term planning aren't as concrete as they are at larger companies
Advice to ManagementKeep it up!!
I applied online. I interviewed at PicnicHealth (United States) in Jul 2022
InterviewThis was a video interview and the interviewer basically regurgitated my resume back to me without asking me any questions. They maybe asked like 2 questions? And then they basically told me that my portfolio isn't what they're looking for because it's too corporate...so I'm guessing that they didn't look at my portfolio until we were actually in our interview which was a waste of my time. I did the whole interview (if you can even call it that) just for them to tell me that they aren't that interested.
Why are you looking for a new position? How many companies are you interviewing with? What are you leaving your current position?Answer Question
