I have been working at Pier 1 Imports part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Management is great. Very accommodating with hours. Work environment is friendly and a lot of fun to work there.

    Cons

Not enough hours. A lot of climbing ladders, lifting heavy items and they pay doesn't show for the work you do. The discount for associates is also diminishing as well. Had a great discount that could be used on everything. Now only can be used on regular price items.

    Application

    I applied in-person. I interviewed at Pier 1 Imports.

    Interview

Asked a few questions at a table while completing the application. I stupidly wasn't dressed to be applying for a job that day, just happened in and they did comment that I couldn't wear my flip flops.
