Camaraderie with staff and corporate office which gave me both support and forward-looking challenges. The product instilled a passion for sales and serving the company. I loved the latitude they gave us in spending time with in throughly interacting with clients. Building strong and personal relationships resulted in repeat business . Heretofore never implemented in the PDC location I asked to start in-home design consolations, and by their openness to new ideas this service thrived and also generated more profit for the store. I was always rewarded for my efforts
Pierre Dex went through a lot of change in ownership. The last ownership was the Cointreau family that decided to end their complete operations and closed all stores nationwide. The Cointreau family had never been in the furniture business and lacked well working systems when crossing over to this type of business.
Advice to Management
I felt as though the company could be changed for the better if they employed a a systems analyst - which I recommended. I believe by employing this service they might have found ways to straight our their overall workings, and meet with greater success.
