  1. Branch Manager Interview

    Interview

I interviewed with one of the human resource recruiters off site which I thought was odd, since they currently don’t have a branch manager. The interview lasted over an hour and it went very well.

I then had a follow up interview with the regional manager based in Tennessee who is in charge of the California region. Although the interview was over the phone at 4:30am due to the time difference it lasted only 15 minutes, it went well as well. I found it a bit peculiar that I had a face to face interview first and then a phone interview.

I then followed up with the regional manager a few days later where I was told that out of three candidates they narrowed it down to two and “You didn’t make the cut”. I found that response unprofessional, in all my years of management I have never disrespected a potential employee nor have I ever brushed them off. I could tell the regional had little to no experience. Furthermore, during my initial interview I was told that the first 2 individuals didn’t show up.
    Interview

Standard interview questions were asked during my initial interview. The human resource Recruiter was very professional.
