  • Yesterday was a true success for our Precious Child Volunteer event as a part of the internship program! Thank you to everyone who was able to volunteer and it wouldn't have been as successful without all the interns, managers & mentors who worked seamlessly together. The Precious Child team was excited to have us volunteer and extremely impressed with how quickly we worked and how much collaboration we showed. They have expressed they would love to have Ping back for any events in the future. Great work team!

Ping Identity – Why Work With Us?

REAP THE BENEFITS

At Ping, we strongly believe in giving back to the communities in which we live and work. We’re very fortunate to be part of such an extraordinary company, and one of the ways we show our appreciation is by supporting and enhancing our communities through volunteer work and charitable contributions. We give back because it’s the right thing to do, and we don’t just talk the talk.

Working here, Ping will match up to $100 of your donation per year if you decide to give to any designated 501c3 charitable organization. Our employees can choose cash donations or up to eight hours (one day) of volunteer time per calendar year. Any time donated for volunteering will be logged as community service time, and it doesn’t count against paid time off.

Ping wouldn’t be the amazing company it is today without the support of our amazing communities, so we’re fortunate to have a give-back mentality at the heart of our culture. If you are a non-profit, you may qualify for a product discount. Contact us to learn more.

I have been working at Ping Identity full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Ping is one of the few companies that actually seems to invest in it's people -- with training, different opportunities, and an open line of communication with upper management. The pay is competitive, the benefits are incredible, the people are dedicated, hardworking, and kind individuals, and there are snacks on deck 24/7. Leadership tries harder than any other company I've worked at to be completely transparent and honest with employees, and there is a bonus incentive set aside at the end of the year for meeting performance goals. There is also room for horizontal and vertical mobility for people that want to try their hand at a different part of the company. Overall, it's a great place to work and it shows in the company morale.

    Cons

Ping is in a time of transition so things can be a little hectic; upper management is incredibly busy all of the time, meeting rooms can be harder to come by. But overall, any perceived negatives pale in comparison to the pros of working here versus other tech companies in the same industry.

    Advice to Management

My managers are open, transparent, with a good sense of humor. However, it would be nice to have more one-on-one time set aside every week to help work through some bottlenecks.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at Ping Identity (Denver, CO) in December 2018.

    Interview

Was referred to Ping by a friend. Working with HR was effortless and professional. The first phone interview with HR was a good get to know you. Then I was asked to take a personality and IQ test that was proctored. Passed that and got a phone interview with hiring manager. Again, the call was very professional, transparent and informative. I was then given a Mt Fuji project to work on until my on-site interview. So I love companies that do this because you get a chance to actually work with the product which as prospective employee can be helpful in your decision to go further in the interview process. Plus it helps the employer to determine if you got what it takes. For the onsite interview, I did a presentation and then had a chat with four different employees. I left the interview feeling very positive.
