Even though “family” isn’t one of our core values, it definitely should be. Pinkerton strives to promote a familial bond between colleagues be it through company-wide announcements from the President that inevitably lead to someone chanting “Pinkerton! Pinkerton!” to something as simple as receiving a signed card on your birthday (sometimes it’s the little things)! Honestly, I love my job. Supervisor is always available. Actually took her door OFF her cubicle to be MORE accessible to her employees. There is always someone available to help you if you have a question, or are struggling with something. I think management, and especially my supervisor in verifications is doing a GREAT job. We are always very busy, and I know my manager is always at her desk working right alongside us, before we get there and usually still there when we are leaving. I love my job and love working for Pinkerton.

Managers, colleagues are very supportive, good environment; timely salary and everyone in Pinkerton support each other. Company organizes different activities on various events and also provides various benefits. Pinkerton is a good organisation to work and give career an energy boost. Best work environment I've experienced in my long career. Management is very supportive of the employees, always available and encouraging. I never felt like I was just a cog in a wheel, but felt like a valuable part of a high performing team.
Several of the positions are in support of a client, instead of directly supporting Pinkerton. If the contract ends, so can your position. As a contractor, your salary is set by the client.
I applied online. I interviewed at Pinkerton (New York, NY) in May 2017.
I was contacted by a manager about 1 week after applying online and scheduled for a 30-min video-conference. That was with a panel of 5 people and I was asked to introduce myself. About 1/3 of this interview was conducted in the two languages required for the position.
2 days later I was contacted for a second video-conference to clarify the situation about my Master and answer some more question. Same 5 people. Tried to assure them my work would always be in first place and part-time Master wouldn’t interfere.
I was very enthusiastic about the job but it ended up being a waste of my time, cause the position was 100% qualitative and what appeared to be quite detailed job description was partially misleading. Why would you want someone with BA in Statistics if the job consists in reading legislation, regulations and media? Some more specific questions about how I would do online research were asked.
Unlike other people who say they were given silence after their interviews in Pinkerton, I received an e-mail 2 days after the second interview to inform me I wasn’t selected for the position. This manager was considered with me.
