What do you eat working 8-5? I've always cooked during the week and then taken left overs to work on my weekend shifts. However life is changing. I'll be working 8-5 now. How do you all handle cooking/making lunches when working 8-5? Any programs in particular you like for recipes or meal planning kits?

    Pros

The Teamwork aspect of Elk River is not just lip-service. Medical, Therapeutic, and Academic staff work in tandem with management to trouble-shoot and problem-solve resident and program needs. All avenues are exhausted in order to assist residents in reaching their goals and progressing toward their success. The school ensures that residents do not get left behind in their academics while they work toward bettering themselves and their family relationships. The holistic nature of the therapy involves all stakeholders in order to create a supportive network for residents and their families

    Cons

If you enjoy seeing others begin their life journey with a fresh outlook and tools that can help them long-term then there are no "cons" to this work. It is very difficult and very worth it.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Pinnacle Behavioral Health (Albany, NY)

      Interview

Extremely unorganized and lengthy process. I was led to believe I was going to be hired and then left in the dark for weeks at a time. In addition to this, I was asked if I would be comfortable with a salary that was much much lower than advertised. In the end, I was told that I was the "perfect candidate," but they "may need to hire a female." My advice is be patient in your search and run from this place.
