    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pivotal (San Francisco, CA).

    Interview

Saw them at career fair. Had a short video call interview where you implement a Set in Java (interviewer drove, interviewee navigated), with some basic behavioral questions thrown in. Then onsite interview pairing on real stories in the backlog for two different teams.

    Interview Questions

    • Implement a Set in Java via TDD and pair programming with the interviewer   Answer Question
    • Onsite for me involved APIs, Ruby on Rails, Git/Github, pipelines/CI, and Java, mostly backend, TDD, pair programming.   Answer Question

Say Hello to Pivotal Postgres: A New Way to Bring the Power and Versatility of PostgreSQL to Your Enterprise

I'm a huge fan of jazz music. I love how the best jazz musicians evolve over the years. As a genre, jazz tends to eschew one-hit wonders. Instead, my favorite artists take me through an inspired journey of music that grows and changes with time and influences.
