I worked at Planisware full-time (More than 8 years)
Great working environment: it feels a little like a start up in that it's a casual work environment and everyone, including management, is accessible. At the same time, everyone is professional, intelligent and hard-working. It's a work hard, play hard atmosphere. Private, profitable company with headquarters in San Francisco. Big perk are social events and the annual kick-off trip in a warm location.
Sometimes it feels like a start up even though it's been around for 15 years. Not a lot of structure (which can be good & bad), especially for career advancement. At times employees seem to be overworked, especially consultants. Sometimes there is not enough autonomy from Planisware France, making it difficult to get projects approved.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Planisware (Philadelphia, PA).
Gave a 15 minute presentation relating to project management. Had two interviews (logic, computer code interpretation). HR interview at the end. I loved the company and would recommend it to anyone who fits the job description.
