    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Plunkett Cooney (Bloomfield Hills, MI) in March 2012.

    Interview

Well organized. Good substantive questions about interest areas. They were interested in manageability and longevity. Research skills are important but writing and personal traits were of highest value. Different practice leaders may prefer different traits as some areas need more outgoing people and others need attorneys who can grind out work that is tedious with long work hours. The firm has strong attorneys in many different areas. I enjoyed the interview and the attorneys who spoke with me seemed genuinely interested in making sure I would be a fit.
